My daughter’s gift of love lifted my heart and I wanted to share it with you. Parusha Naidoo’s digital Afro-Asian plant-based cookbook, ‘Least Effort, Most Reward’, is for all of us who love eating tasty, healthy, home-cooked food and do not want to spend hours slaving over hot stoves. The book’s opening slogan ‘less time in the kitchen and more time at the table’ invites us to make and eat delicious food and have time to live and love…to write, create art, walk in the wild, swim in the ocean, travel virtually across Africa and Asia and nurture deep human connection.
Parusha communicates food-politics with lightness and depth through brief insightful stories, colourful art and easy to follow recipes. It inspired me to cook her dishes and learn more about the people and places in her stories.

Reading your post about Parusha’s Cookbook really made me think about how simple recipes can still feel rewarding and tasty without needing lots of effort in the kitchen. It reminded me of when I tried making a quick snack before an exam and felt proud when it turned out good. I once had to write my CIPD assignment on workplace wellbeing and time management, which helped me see how small, easy steps can lead to meaningful results.
This cookbook sounds amazing for saving time in the kitchen! It reminds me of how I use a pixel flow walkthrough to breeze through game levels quickly, so I can enjoy more free time too.
